Diversion

Diversion is a housing intervention designed to immediately address the needs of someone who has just lost their housing and has become homeless.

Diversion Examples

Some options for clients utilizing diversion as an intervention include:

    • Working with a landlord to negotiate a return to previous housing;
    • Working with family members to negotiate a return to living with family;
    • Using a short-term, non shelter accommodation;
    • Placing clients into a readily available room, apartment or homes.

Move Atlanta Forward by Giving Back!

This #GivingTuesday, Partners for HOME invites you to join us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Since 2016, we’ve partnered with the City of Atlanta and the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC) to achieve a 30% reduction in homelessness. This milestone is a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion.
