Join us for a virtual training on Trauma-Informed Customer Service training, facilitated by the Georgia State University Child Welfare Training Collaborative.
This training focuses on using empathy and a trauma-informed approach to support individuals with a history of, or who are currently experiencing, traumatic events. The course is designed to enhance professionals’ ability to adapt their practices to better meet the needs of the individuals they serve. Participants will gain actionable strategies to implement immediately.

- Types of trauma
- Significance of cultural trauma
- Adverse childhood experiences and their potential lifelong impact
- Foundational skills of empathy, genuineness, and respect in delivering trauma-informed customer service
- Focused listening, questioning, and non-verbal communication skills to support trauma-informed customer service
Continuing Education Units (CEUs):CEUs will be available for this training. Participants who complete the full session will be eligible to receive continuing education credits. Additional details on CEU eligibility and documentation will be provided during the training.
