Together with the City of Atlanta and the dedicated members of the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC), we have made significant strides in addressing homelessness. The CoC, composed of over 170 nonprofit, government, business, and community stakeholders, works tirelessly to end homelessness by promoting community-wide commitment and providing essential funding for rehousing efforts. Since we first collected data in the 2016 PIT Count, the number of our neighbors experiencing homelessness has decreased by 30%.

Our collaborative efforts have recently culminated in achieving the LIFT 2.0 goal, housing 1,553 unsheltered or chronic households – surpassing our initial target of 1,500 by December 31, 2024. This remarkable achievement brings us closer to our mission of making homelessness brief, rare, and non-recurring. Our key milestones include housing 160 households in permanent placements this year, 726 households through LIFT-specific initiatives, and many more through various strategic approaches.

Successfully housed
103 households.
Housed 41 households in less than 12 days from enrollment.
Achieved rapid rehousing for
105 households over 9 months through extensive outreach efforts.
Provided housing for 60 households in rapid rehousing over a 5-month period.
Completed 123 Coordinated Entry (CE) assessments within 72 hours from enrollment.
Compassionately closed 8 encampments, ensuring a supportive transition for those affected.
